Red Carpet

The red carpet for New Moon was full of celebrities. Celebrities such as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy, Penelope Cruz, as well as all of the stars of New Moon were at the premiere. Dakota Fanning, who plays Jane (part of the Volturi), also walked the red carpet. Dakota said that she and Kristen Stewart developed a good relationship throughout the movie and that she almost felt bad playing her character Jane and hurting people because of her good relationship with the cast. Dakota stars along Kristen Stewart in another movie about the life of Joan Jett.

Robert Pattinson greeted fans and signed autographs. He even stated while on one red carpet that he was tired of the same old talk with fans, so one fan asked what she could do for him. Jokingly, he said she could take her clothes off. She did and was then escorted off by security.

Nikki Reed was looking stunning on the red carpet. She tells reporters that when walking the red carpet for New Moon her hands were not as sweaty as when she did the red carpet for Twilight.

There have been a few movie premieres and a few red carpets for New Moon, and at one of the movie premieres, Kristen Stewart was criticized for what she wore. At the U.S. premiere, she chose much more formal attire and looked radiant.

Ashley Greene wore a bright red dress on the red carpet which was a second outfit for the star. She decided at the last minute that her first outfit was not adequate for the red carpet. Another star, Kellan Lutz, looked dapper in his suit and blond hair. Kellan said that with his new blond hair, he had to convince crew to let him into the after party because security did not recognize him.
